Besides being trained in Modern Medicine and Acupuncture, Dr. Ved Prakash Banga is also trained in Vedic Astrology. He completed a two-year course of Jyotish Acharya. Jyotish, or Astrology, is considered a divine science and classical literature on this subject exists in ancient Vedic texts.
What is unique in this work is that data from patients has been carefully collected and studied to identify astrological combinations that may affect vision. Based on these combinations, treatment planning is done and patients are also advised certain self-help measures after completion of treatment.
Experience has shown that this approach works very well as an adjuvant to treatment. However, it does not mean that if a patient does not have birth data, treatment cannot be provided or this knowledge cannot be applied.
Based on this research, a book on this subject will be published soon. The book will scientifically present these aspects along with individual patient experiences and observations.
